RETAIL CONSULTANT/TRAINER
We are seeking a visionary leader, passionate to join our Retail Training/Consulting Team as a Retail Trainer reporting to the Vice President of Training. The ideal candidate must be able to embrace our corporate values of integrity, teamwork, respect and professionalism.

Job Summary:
  • Deliver and help implement proprietary Friedman training programs and methods to a diverse range of large and small retail organizations in varied industries
  • Provide clients with leadership and service that maximizes training investments and achieves business results
  • Facilitate classroom and field training of curriculum and custom-developed programs
  • Deliver dynamic presentations on Friedman programs in public and private seminars and keynote speeches
  • Master all elements of the Friedman retail training programs and training methodologies
  • Travel weekly, including being away occasionally on the weekends
Qualified Candidates Must Have:
  • Training experience at multiple retail and/or client locations, with 1-5 years of practical experience
  • Presentation skills with knowledge of, and the ability to apply, adult learning principles
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to articulate ideas and concepts clearly and extemporaneously
  • Excellent facilitation skills and a confident personality
  • Superior organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Scheduling and event planning skills
  • Experience developing and/or executing a training program using a standard training design methodology or other instructional design knowledge
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • In-depth industry knowledge in consumer products, retail organizations and retail services
  • Professional sales experience is a plus

Significant experience in one or more of the following areas is greatly desired: Program Management, Organizational Development, Change Management, Value Methodology/Analysis, Return on Investment Analysis, Total Cost of Ownership, Business Process Design/Improvement, Benchmarking, Key Performance Indicators, Business Improvement Modeling and/or Performance Metrics

Compensation:
Successful candidates should expect to earn $50,000-100,000+ per year after the initial paid training period. Additionally, we provide extensive opportunities for further financial incentive, professional advancement and personal growth.

A comprehensive benefits package is provided that includes a 401K plan, comprehensive health and dental insurance, paid vacation, sick pay and paid holidays.
